Buckwild Remix's

In my opinion Buckwild has long been both the most reliable AND the most diverse member of the DITC crew when it comes to knocking out a tune. Anyone listening in the early 90s can tell you what a Diamond D track sounds like or what a typical Lord Finesse beat will do, but can you really tell me OC's classic "Times Up" shares much sonically with Black Rob's "Woah"? Like LL says, I don'think so. And he's still doing it! If there is one thing that unites many (not all) Buck produced tracks it's the space. Rarely does he fill a track up to the brim with layered samples when a fresh loop and hard beat will do the job. It's this economy that unites the tracks below.

you are definetely right about buckwild bein diverse when it comes to production, like when i found out that he did whoa, i was shocked, or live wire by az i was shocked, he defintely did his thing on oc's word life album, my favorite tracks from this compilation are Come on With The Get Down (defintely better than the original) Your World Don't Stop, Get It Together, Word Is Bond (i love that horn break), I Like It (too bad they don't make music like this anymore), Respect The Architect (bahamadia is definetely one of the most underrated female mc's out there, she did here did, her kollage album is a hip hop classic, she really got hooked up with the production), Yo Black (i always liked kool keith, he's different, and always had crazy production on his album, that beat has a real dark feel to it, like ur inside a dark dungeon type feel to it, Cut That Weak Shit (that beat is bananas, i love hearing anything royal flush is on, people slept on him like mattress, i know he's not the most lyrical dude out there but he's definetely listenable, and the beats they give definetely compliments him) Hip To The Game (this is good but im feelin the orginal much better) Lifes A Bitch (im speechless), One Little Indian (i love that sample), Lyrics (this is way better than the original, special ed has to be one of the most underrated lyricists out there, his revalation has to be his best album that he put, in my opinion, crooklyn u shouldve put in the nod factor remix by mad skillz, peace.

Thanks for this one! Buckwild is definitely one of the illest. I had seen that Daam 12" with the Buck remix floatin around for years but had never heard it. Just hearin the Special Ed, Grand Puba, Guru, and Organized remixes transports me back to the mid 90's. Thanks again.
