1. D.I.T.C. - All Luv feat. Fat Joe, Lord Finesse, Big L, A.G.(Peep It)
[Lord Finesse]
While you playing games, we claimin fame slaying dames
The aim is to make Mo' Money like Damon Wayans
You know our names, we don't play jokes
Niggas ain't feeling us? You ain't supposed to, that's for gay folks
You stay broke, we stay holding and stay rolling
Rap's Beetoven, exploding, my game's golden
Pockets swollen, we make the freaks stare
Roll with some chocolate grimey niggas, but ain't nothing sweet here
Keep clear, ah yeah so get stepping
Make hit records off of loops that's six seconds
No question the cash tipper, the ass whipper
Need a chick that can hang, f*ck you broads that wear glass slippers
Bigger, city slicker, you cats follow me?
Finesse is among the stars like astrology
Greater knowledge, G, sh*t's wild, I flip styles
On the mile, let me pass it off like Chris Childs

[Big L]
Yo my cash flow don't get low, it just increase
And whoever tries to take mine will rest in peace
Keep a stone look, peace to every known crook
Not those who go to jail and can't hold they own and come home shook
So hold on and prepare to get rolled on
My crew robs every fag that walks through the ???
Cats who act rah rah will catch a jim star scar
Punks who fake the funk don't get far, pah
Me and my clan parlay sipping Grand Marlet
At a party at the bar is where we stand all day
In '97 I'm bubbling, no more stuggling
If I fall, it's back to selling drugs again and busting slugs in men
No doubt, you know what I'm about
The last slouch that walked through my block didn't make it out
Because I stuck that nigga, then I bucked that nigga
(I felt sorry for that kid) I didn't f*ck that nigga

2. Lord Finesse feat. Big L. Percy P - Yes You May (Remix) (Peep It)
[Big L]
Ah check it out, yo
Ayo everywhere I go, brothers know my f*cking name
I'm flooring niggas and I only weight a buck and change
I gave a lot of black eyes in my extorting days
f*cking with me, a lotta niggas was sporting shades
I grab the microphone and scar jerks
Niggas running up (Put me on!) What the f*ck, is this star search?
I'm relieving rappers like Sudafed
And if the microphone was smoke then Big L would be a buddha head
Ayo my crew's real smooth like Lopez
I was rocking mics since niggas was wearing Pro Keds
I only roll with originators
Chicks stick to my dick like magnets on refridgerators
I'm a crazy mean lyracist
Many are in fear of this, yeah, so they stand clear of this
And those that refuse the order, Big L bruise and slaughter
Niggas hear me and take notes like a news reporter
I'll bend a rapper like a fender, I'm slender, but far from tender
Killing niggas like a Klan member
You can't touch this, your rhyme's to darn weak, front
And I'm a introduce your brains to the concrete
I keep hoes satisfied, I'm pushing the fattest ride
To take me out, troop, even the baddest try
But they fell cause my techniques are liver
I'm so deaf I need a hearing aid with an equalizer
You tried to hit a home run but you struck out
My rhymes were released, I'd like to say peace the f*ck out

[Lord Finesse]
Check it out, it's the brother you have to hear, stand up, clap, and cheer
As far as running mine, ain't nothing happening here
Cause I'm on some ruthless sh*t
It ain't over til the fat lady sing? I'm a shoot the b*tch
I'm swift with this, it's ridiculous to get with this
When I kick some sh*t, I'm a cold flip the script
It's all systems go when I start ripping shows
I swing and do my thing and I'm coming home with different hoes
I got game like Genesis
When I finish this I can bag any hoe on the premisis
I spin into action like a whirlpool
Get wilder than a rapist in a Catholic all-girls school
Cause I'm scoring mine, never kicking boring rhymes
I'm living larger than my dick in the morning time
I get paid and laid on a good night
Me take a loss? That sh*t don't even look right
Brothers couldn't win against me with their hardest tactics
I hang 'em and use their ass for target practice
If you think you can troop, go recruit your group
We can battle for some loot, sh*t
I take you, and plus the rest of your squad
Bust your ass and make you all get messanger jobs
So write that sh*t in your column
Any rapper who wants beef, motherf*cker's got problems
I'm out to make changes
It's the Funky Man, you know what my motherf*cking name is

3. Showbiz & AG feat. Big L, Lord Finesse, Deshawn - Represent(Peep It)
[Verse One: Big L]
Yo, on the mic is Big L, that brother who kicks flav God
Known for sendin garbage MC's to the graveyard
I pack a gat and not a slingshot
Step to this and get a ass-whoopin like Rodney King got
Or get beat to your death like Cochise
My laws is no peace, f*ck the police
MC's be braggin about cash they collect
but them chumps is like Ray Charles
cause they ain't seen no money yet
Trash rappers I tax and spark
I be wettin niggaz up like water rides in Action Park
A nigga stuck me, and that ain't funny son
So I got money Dunn, they wet him and his honey bun
Cause phony faggots I froze, it's a fact
I flip fast on foes with fabulous fantastic flows
L is the rebel type, I'm rough as a metal pipe
f*ck a Benz, cause I could pull skins on a pedal-bike!
Props, I got the most, no MC comes close
Coast-to-coast, shows I host, foes I roast
Adios, I'm ghost

[Verse Three: Lord Finesse]
It's the F-I-N-E-double-S-E, don't play or stress me
Cause that sh*t don't impress me
I make papes off the sh*t I create, and then dictate
So get your motherf*ckin sh*t straight
I got skills and I'm hard to kill
So y'all b*tch-ass rappers better chill and just guard your grill
Y'all grab a mic and always gettin hype
Talkin bout f*ckin niggaz up When you can bearly beat your dick right
So stop ridin my dilznick
Cause I can still kick the ill sh*t on the motherf*ckin real tip
Hit like Foreman when I'm brawlin
Those who think I'm fallin, I'll play your monkey-ass like a organ
I got crazy niggaz in the city 'noid
Got mad b*tches, but it's not cause I'm a motherf*ckin pretty-boy
I'm ruthless, I'm not on that goody-goody tip
That sh*t played out with that Beat Street/Electric Boogie sh*t
I'll stomp any rapper that you have compete
If they ass is weak, they better chill and grab a seat
And go 'head with they master plan
Stevie Wonder probably see me 'fore half you rappers can
You can't hang and you're fallin fast
You rappers that's trash better dash and start haulin ass
Cause I'm out to wreck sh*t
f*ck up a show, collect my dough and step off with a bad b*tch
Spectators always have the best time
When they come to a show and hear a funky Lord Finesse rhyme
I'm out to get bigger, lounge and make rich figures
You'll never catch Finesse associating with b*tch niggaz
I work overtime when it's time to go for mine
Crab-ass rappers, don't even front cause ya'll know the time
So it's time for me to step
Peace to Showbiz & A.G., and I'm off to the left

Bel Biv Devoe - Poison

"Never trust a big butt and a smile". If you are a 70's baby...you knew this album front to back & upsidedown. This was pure Hip Hop smoothed out, on that R & B tip, with the sex appeal. For me... No other album in the 90's brings back so many memories. A true "Summertime Classic"....Word To The Mutha!"

Crooklyn's Early 90's Fav's

A Few of My early 90's Fav's .........

The Coup - Kill My Landlord (1993) Whenever I listen to this album, I think "This is the funkiest stuff ever." Boots creates irresistably groovy compositions that rely on no more than a live bass line, some drums, and some on-point piano stabs. If this album was simply instrumental, I'd buy it. But the lyrics are as impressive as the music.

UMC's - Fruits Of Nature (1991) Awesome B-Boy Hip Hop,this early 90's gem comes from an era when jazzy beats and flowing and rhyming with intelligent lyrics were the rule rather than the exception like todays mainstream hip hop, definately a lost classic. If you are a teen or someone in their early twenties who likes Pop Hiphop like Cam or 50 Cent who seem to only rap about bling, money and shooting people, you probably will not appreciate just what an brilliant album this is.

Naughty by Nature - Naughty by Nature (1991) If you want to hear one of the best rappers of the 90's tear up dope track after dope track, then grab this album.Treach shows he is one of the best MC's from this time in rap with his amazing talent on the mic. And the beats were solid. Lyrics are dope. And a flow you can't describe nothing else but amazing. A classic old school rap album.

YZ - Sons of Tha Father (1990) This is one of my favorite secret old school record that was made in 1990... Many tight production including the all time classic "thinking of a masterplan". But beware, he may kick a wack rhyme or two?

Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard - Give Em The Finger (1993) Believe it or not the beats here are handled by the Trakmasterz. These guys make pop rap these days but back in 93 they were pretty cool. Thing is, although the beats are heavy, the production is still a little bit too polished compared to a lot of the gritty sounding street stuff that was coming out back then. Pudgee himself is an emcee of MAJOR skills

Zebra Head: Soundtrack

This Soundtrack is one of those fogotten gems of 1992. Serch of 3rd Bass was the soundtrack's executive producer...Serch approached Nasty Nas about contributing a track to the the soundtrack. and, like much of New York, had been impressed by "Live at the Barbeque." Nas submitted "Halftime," and the song so stunned Serch that he made it the soundtrack's lead-off track. The rest of the soundtrack is simply "Off The Chain". Kool Moe Dee, AMG, Serch, & The Goats, all have str8 fire tracks on this drop.

Nature

Nature is a unique breed of emcee, with a very special delivery (no pun intended). He's actually one of my favorites. His debut album, was somewhat genius to my hip-hop ears. I feel For All Seasons was pushed, and because of Nature's quarrel with The Firm, this album was probably altered from the original. In other words, Nature was forced to release an album he wasn't that much in control over. His second album, Wild Gremlinz wasn't a better album, but it was a true Nature project. It's too bad For All Seasons wasn't a proper Nature venture, because if it was, there may have been a classic in the making.

Dead Prez

Dead Prez elevate themselves through the knowledge of yesterday and its significance in the present day. The symbol in their logo comes from an ancient Chinese oracle called the I-Ching (the book of change). This system was used by the wise men and women of China some three thousand years ago, as a means of analyzing reality and perfecting the art of foresight. That process of change is symbolized in their music, and they believe there is a common link between all historically oppressed people. These niggaz are the hard truth.....peep'em!!!!!
