Smif n Wessun

All headz realize... get your Hoody's & Timb's on for this Smif N Wessun ride. Brooklyn's Tek and Steele have always been one of the most slept on duo's in hip hop. They feed of each other & rap line for line , instead of verse for verse. These headz got there start on Black Moon's classic debut, Enta da Stage, in 1993. Their debut LP, Dah Shinin' was dropped in 95. Dark, neck-snapping BK hip hop at it's finest. After a legal battle with the Smith and Wesson firearm company, the duo resurfaced in 1997 as Cocoa Brovaz & released there second album "The Rude Awakening". In 2002 they recorded an album on Rawkus Records that was untitled & never released. Now in 2006, Tek & Steel are standing strong as two of the "Great 8" (The Boot Camp Clik) and working on a follow up to there 2005 release "Reloaded" which was highly acclaimed by hip hop critics.

I found it.....This post is from Qnzgrimiest

Da shinin is by far one of the best albums to come out in 1995,and one of the best albums that duck down records has ever released.when you open the case you can smell the timbs and gunpowder, all these songs you can play without skipping a track. all y'all n*ggas that claim to love hip hop or new york hip hop need to listen to this to know what real hip ny hip hop is.and what makes the album so special is the dark production.the stand out tracks are Wontime,Sound Bwoy Bureill,K.I.M.,Bucktown,Stand Strong,
Shinin...Next Shit, Cession At Da Doghillee,Hellucination,Home Sweet Home,Let's Git It On even the intro for P.N.C.is hot and P.N.C.Recommended for fans of real hip hop ,ny hip hop, and fans of boot camp click. the rude awakening wasn't all that good, and reloaded was good not their best but listenable, by the way that new bcc album is fire.

Eh Yo...tru on Dah Shinin'. by far their best stuff....BUT, I must say the new island sound is the hottest shit to be heard in the present in my opinion. Tracks like #1 Sound, Nothing's Gonna Change, and all of the rest... That sh*t is the NEW FIRE!! Hopefully they keep movin with dat. Beatminerz had a beat called "Funeral" up on their space page a while back and it was the fuck*n illest sh*t ever... Keep it up Crooks. PEACE.
